You upload personal documents here. This page says plainly what happens to them.

What we store

  • Your name, email address and time zone.
  • The files you upload, in private storage that is not publicly reachable.
  • The details taken from those files — titles, dates, amounts, providers, your notes.
  • Reminder settings and the record of reminders we sent you.
  • Billing status from our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.

How your documents are used

Your documents are used for one thing: reading the dates and amounts out of them so we can remind you. They are not used to train models, are not used for marketing, and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

To read a document, its contents are sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic (the Claude models, processed in the United States), turned into structured details, and returned. Anthropic does not train its models on what is sent through its API, and is contractually bound not to use the content for its own purposes. Nothing else about you travels with the document — no name, no email address, no account number.

If you would rather no document of yours was ever read this way, do not upload it: every item can be filled in by hand, and nothing is sent anywhere until you attach a file or use “Just say it”.

“Just say it” works the same way: the sentence you dictate or type is sent to Anthropic to be turned into a reminder, under the same terms — no training, no other use. The audio itself never reaches us: your phone’s or your browser’s own dictation — Apple’s or Google’s, as anywhere else you dictate — turns it into text first.

Companies that handle your data

These are every outside company that touches any part of it, and what each one gets. We do not sell your data to anyone, and there is nobody else.

  • Anthropic (United States) — reads the documents you upload, as described above. No training, no other use.
  • Supabase — the database and the private file storage: your account, your items and your files live there.
  • Vercel — hosting and the usage counts described under Cookies.
  • Resend — sends the reminder and account emails. Sees your email address.
  • Dodo Payments — sells the subscription as merchant of record and holds the card details. We never see a card number.
  • Apple and Google — deliver the push notifications to your phone, when you turn them on. They carry the reminder’s title, date, amount and provider — never a document. If you sign in with Apple or Google, they give us only your name and email address.

Who can see your files

Only you — and the people in your team, if you share an account with them. Nobody else can see your files: not our staff, not the administrator, not anyone at NeverMiss. Every file is encrypted (AES-256) before it is stored, with a key that exists only inside the NeverMiss server and that no person on our team can read. Opened from the database or from any admin screen, a file is just scrambled data. It is decrypted only at the moment you open it from your signed-in session, and once when you upload it, so the reading described above can take the dates and amounts out of it.

How long we keep things

For as long as your account exists. Delete a document and its file is removed from storage. Delete your account and everything — profile, items, files, reminders — is permanently removed. Billing records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

  • Export everything you have stored, as a single file, from Settings → Data & Privacy.
  • Delete any document at any time.
  • Delete your account, permanently, from Settings → Data & Privacy. No email to anyone, no waiting.
  • Turn reminder emails off from Settings → Notifications.
  • Besides reminders we only email what your account needs: sign-in codes, and a note with the plans when you reach a free-plan limit.

Cookies

We set the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and nothing else. There is no advertising tracking on this site. Product analytics record which actions happen — an upload, a save, a cancellation — never what a document says. Page visits are counted without cookies and without building a profile of you — the page address only, never a search query or a document id — so we can see which pages are useful.
